Nest Projects
Since every single power grid has sounds unique to a timestamp, it's possible, in theory, to accurately match any audio sample to an exact time (and general region) of recording. We can even verify the authenticity of any audio sample! However, for this approach to be successful, it needs data to match against — I used Nest and some networking shenanigans to collect second-by-second data to create the only current and complete (ish) dataset of the European power grid.

Grolf is a Slack bot 🤖 that runs on Nest inside a Docker container that is dynamically built on each GitHub release. It uses Prisma and SQLite for the database and features a custom logging library that allows for logging to be sent to Slack without having to check the Docker logs. Its mission is to provide an easy way for Hack Clubbers to upload Git commits automatically to their Arcade (Hack Club summer event 2024) sessions.
